Heritage Days in Margaux – 19 & 20 September
Every year in September, the Heritage Days offer a unique opportunity to discover the history and heritage of Margaux. On September 19 and 20, visitors can explore two of the area’s historic churches: Saint-Michel Church and Saint-Didier Church.

Margaux Saveurs 2026
The Margaux Saveurs association invites wine lovers, food enthusiasts, and fans of discovery and musical culture to the 17th edition of its flagship event, taking place from October 16 to 18, 2026. Three days of festivities in the heart of the Margaux appellation will celebrate the region’s riches in a warm and convivial atmosphere. Held after the grape harvest, the event showcases the expertise of the winemakers, artisans, restaurateurs, accommodation providers, shopkeepers, and associations that bring the region to life and enhance its renown.
Dates: October 16–18, 2026
Activities: winery tours, Margaux wine tastings, *Gerbaude* dinner, lunch at Château Haut-Breton Larigaudière, “Saveurs” evening event, concerts in local churches.

Afterwork in Médoc
In 2026, Afterworks in Médoc celebrate their 10th edition with an exciting new concept: inviting visitors to enjoy a festive and welcoming experience inspired by different cultures, while celebrating the Médoc way of life.
Guests will discover a variety of worlds through themed activities, atmospheres and tastings. To fully embrace the spirit of the journey, guests are encouraged to wear an outfit inspired by the destination or an accessory reflecting its culture.
Over the past ten years, Afterworks in Médoc have become a much-loved summer event, bringing together people, heritage, wine discovery and a warm, convivial atmosphere. Each summer, between 150 and 250 guests come together to enjoy memorable evenings.

Larigaudière afterwork
Every Thursday from 6:00 pm, Château Haut-Breton Larigaudière opens its doors for relaxed evenings featuring a wine bar, sharing boards, craft beers and themed events.

At Château La Tour de Bessan, come and meet Santa Claus this Saturday, November 30 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free visits and tastings all day, and Santa Claus will be at Château La Tour de Bessan at 4 p.m.

Symposium #2 Vineyards & Biodiversity
The Margaux appellation is delighted to be taking part as a partner in Conference #2 Vineyards & Biodiversity to be held on January 18 and 19, 2024 at Châteauneuf-du-Pape. A multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary symposium to build the viticulture of tomorrow. Conceived as an open dialogue between industry professionals and a cross-disciplinary approach between science and the world of wine, this symposium is based on sharing knowledge, highlighting science and practical experience, while exploring new perspectives.
Biodiversity and ecosystems are part of a vast dynamic that does not stop at geographical or territorial borders. Often unfairly regarded as a constraint, it nevertheless offers key answers to current disruptions – whether climatic or ecological – while guaranteeing the continuity of an age-old cultural tradition.

MARCHE DES PRODUCTEURS SRG
In 2021, Margaux appellation was recognised as a ” Site Remarquable du Goût” . This year to celebrate the 14th edition of Margaux Saveurs, we are delighted to announce that a special gastronomic market will take place in Margaux. From Saturday 21st to Sunday 22sd of October 2023, producers labelised SRG, will be coming from everywhere in France to offer tastings of exceptional and traditional products in Château les Barraillots.

La Médocaine Bike Tour
The Médocaine Bike Tour is a ride in-between villages, vineyards and Châteaux of the appellations Margaux, Médoc, Haut-Médoc, Moulis and Listrac.

A Cru Bourgeois Gateway
A fun and interesting visit of the infamous Crus Bourgeois of the Médoc. Fifty properties that produce Crus Bourgeois in the Médoc are taking part in “L’Escapade Bourgeoise, an adventure” from May to September, to talk about the story of the wines in this family. This experience will reveal the story, the origin, the wines, and the people that take part in the production.

- Additional information: The visit will be divided into several parts. The first part of the visit will focus on the history, the local environment and on the Médoc vines. A second part will be dedicated on the expertise of the wine makers from the harvesting process to the consumption with a visit of a local “chai”. And finally, this lovely enriching experience a wine tasting will be offered to our visitors for their biggest pleasure. It will take place in the Médoc, between the ocean and the beautiful pine forests, animated by passionate men and women that are proud of their local culture. Bordeaux wine days
“Bordeaux fête le VIN” 2023, is an unavoidable annual event in Bordeaux.
Come and join the professional winemakers from the 22nd to the 25th of June in the docks of Bordeaux for a rich program of wine tasting, experiences and emotions.
The Program:
- A village of appellations on 1km long on the docks
- 1200 winemakers and traders
- 80 wine appellations
- About twenty excellent French traditional food producers: with local delicacies and products.
- Restaurants and wine merchants all over the city are partners of the event

Margaux Saveurs 2022
Every year for Margaux Saveurs, châteaux of the appellation Margaux open their doors to the public. In the 4 villages of the appellation concerts, tastings tours and worshops are organized. This 13th edition of the event will be supported by the artist Murray Head. Book your place !
